So we decided to make our own filter that works to our specifications.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe filter consists of twin filter elements, the primary filter element on the outside. And the secondary filter element on the top which increases the surface area for the air to pass through. There is a TPU cone underneath the secondary filter element that helps direct the air flowing through the filter, reducing turbulence, and increasing total flow.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe chose dry filters as that allows us to cover a wide range of applications, where mass airflow sensors are involved and get damaged over time by oiled filters.
